We also bring a variety of designer and private label frames and sunglasses of reputed brands, as well as local brands, related eye care products, and contact lenses. We also provide information to help our clients make effective and the best purchasing decisions. It is our wish that the customers get all the desired information before placing an order for products and get value for their money.

Otticart will explore and endeavor to provide all products of different descriptions available for daily use in business as accurately as possible on its website. The images and descriptions are mere representations of the actual product and are expected to vary from the actual product. The company does not give/render any guarantee that every itemized product that has been displayed through its website is error-free. The company further reserves its right to display the goods and their color as accurately as possible. Otticart further assures that the products displayed on the screen and their colors may not be 100% error-free; slight modifications and/or variations may be possible while taking pictures/images of the said products, and in such cases, Otticart assures every customer to provide all necessary backups to make the product genuine as far as possible. If the product offered from the website is not as described on the website, then immediately contact our customer care department or email us for further assistance at your earliest.

ORDER AND PURCHASE

• Otticart accepts each & every order placed by its customers on our website. A customer can place their order by transmitting their prescription to our email ID as well as on the website.
• The company thereafter makes necessary arrangements to fulfill the requirements of the customer.
• The company will not take any responsibility if the customer fails to provide the details outlined in its prescription. Once the order is placed and the product/products are ready for delivery.
• The company will not take any additional responsibility for the order placed by you in case of actual fittings on your face. The company reserves the right to deliver the product as per the specifications placed on the website.
• The customer should essentially insist on a proper and valid prescription duly prescribed by a qualified eye care practitioner.
• The company will use its best effort to ensure that the order placed by the customer is successfully executed, subject to the availability of the product. In case the product is not available in the market, the company will make a refund.

SHIPPING POLICY (Conditions of Delivery)

Complimentary Shipping: We offer free shipping on all orders delivered within India.

Order Fulfillment Time:

Standard orders: Dispatched within 1–2 business days.

Prescription orders: Dispatched within 3–5 business days due to the additional processing required.

Delivery Timeframe: Once shipped, your order is expected to arrive within 3–7 working days, depending on your location. Delays may occur in the case of unforeseen events or natural disasters.

Delivery Inspection: Please inspect the package before accepting it. If the package appears damaged or tampered with, do not accept it. Instead, immediately report the issue to the delivery personnel and return the package. Accepting a damaged package will be considered as confirmation of receipt in good condition.

Carrier Responsibility: All shipments are handled and fulfilled directly by otticart.com.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation can only be done on the following terms and conditions:

• Sunglass/Frame/Contact Lenses—Cancellation can be done before the product is shipped or within 12 hrs. of booking the order (whichever is earlier).
• Once the product is shipped, the company will not accept any cancellations.
• Complete Spectacles (Frame/Sunglasses + Lens)—Cancellation can be done within 4 hrs. or before the lenses are processed, since these are customized lenses.
• The company reserves the right to cancel an order. The reason for cancellation could be due to:

1. in case the order request is not acceptable to the company.
2. Non-availability of the product.
3. Inaccurate product information or pricing discrepancies.
4. Due to any reason of fraud.
5. Wrong usage of payment made by the customer or incomplete information received from the customer.

Upon such cancellation made by the customer with intimation being given to the company within the prescribed period mentioned above, then in that case the company shall refund 100% of the money and not otherwise.

RETURN, EXCHANGE, AND RETURN POLICY

At Otticart, your satisfaction is our top priority. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a flexible return and exchange policy, subject to the terms outlined below.

RETURN & EXCHANGE

• Customers may request a return or exchange of any product within three (3) days of receipt.
• To be eligible, items must be in their original packaging and condition, accompanied by the original invoice.
• Prescription orders, including ophthalmic lenses and contact lenses, are non-returnable and non-exchangeable due to their classification as medical products.
• All returned/exchanged items are subject to a quality inspection, which will be completed within three (3) working days of receipt.
• Upon approval of the return/exchange:
• Customers may select an alternate product of equal value, or
• Opt for a credit note equivalent to the returned item’s value, redeemable within six (6) months from the date of issue.
• Exchanged items will be dispatched within 1–2 working days following confirmation.

 RETURN/EXCHANGE PROCESS

1. Visit the following link: [Order Return/Exchange], and complete the required details.
2. Choose the item to return and follow the steps to submit your request.
3. Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including the invoice, manuals, and accessories received with the product.
4. Otticart will arrange a return pickup for the order.
5. Alternatively, you may contact our support team at support@otticart.com for assistance.

Refund Policy

• Refunds will be processed once the returned product has been received, inspected, and approved by our Quality Control team.
• Items must be unused, in original condition, and include all tags, packaging, and documentation to qualify for a refund.
• Refunds will not be issued for returns resulting from wear and tear, damage due to use, or negligence.

Refund Processing:

• Once approved, refunds will be initiated to the original payment source or Otticart Wallet, as chosen at the time of return.
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of product receipt and successful inspection.
• For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, customers must provide valid bank details in the “My Account” section of otticart.com. Refunds will be credited to the provided bank account within 7–10 business days.
• In cases involving lens upgrade issues (e.g., incorrect prescription, power range, or selection), the order may be cancelled with customer consent, and the refund will be credited exclusively to the Otticart Wallet for use in placing a new order.

Important: Please ensure all bank account details are accurate. Otticart Private Limited is not liable for refund failures or delays caused by incorrect or incomplete banking information provided by the customer.

WARRANTY POLICY

The company will forward the warranty supplied by the manufacturer to the customer.

The company hereby gives a three-month warranty on any product purchased online. The company further provides the warranties on those products as given by the manufacturer to the customer.  All warranties are limited to manufacturing defects only.

In the case of branded products, the same will be sent to the principal company for repair/replacement.

The company reserves its rights to give services in case of manufacturing defects, restricted only to branded products, on the following:

For Frames and Sunglasses: This includes immunity extended in furtherance of the manufacturer’s warranty against deficiencies in hinges and welding points only lasting for a period of 3 months from the purchase date specified.

For Ophthalmic Lenses: This includes a guarantee against the non-conformity of the lenses to the prescription tendered by you, if the same is reported and evidenced within 1 (one) month from the date of invoice. This guarantee shall extend only towards the conformity of the lenses made by the prescription relied upon by you and not the prescription per se.

Note: This shall not cover complaints against defects/damage caused by accidents and natural wear & tear.

The following conditions are not covered under warranty:

Damage caused by misuse, scratching, or tarnishing; accidental damages, sitting on the frames/sunglasses; twisting or bending of the frames/sunglasses; cracking/breaking of lenses; and natural discoloration of lenses/frames/sunglasses.

In the case of products other than the branded ones, the company reserves its right to provide a warranty to products that do not come under the following parameters:

Natural discoloring of lenses/frames/sunglasses, twisting or bending of the frames/sunglasses, scratching or tarnishing damage/loss of screws, stones, or crystals.

WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS: 

Please ensure all three requirements below are met for us to process your warranty claim.

1. The product should be packed in a cardboard box, and the customer’s contact details and address should be mentioned on the box.
2. A copy of the invoice should be sent along with the product in the cardboard box.
3. A duly filled Product Complaint Form should be printed and sent along with the product in the cardboard box.

If warranty service is required, please pack your product in a cardboard box and use a shipping service that offers tracking to ensure a safe delivery of your product. Otticart is not responsible for packages lost in transit and the cost of shipping the product(s) to the service center.

If warranty conditions apply to the defect of your frame, your product will be repaired with spares or replaced with a new one. If the model is not available anymore, you will be refunded the full amount of your purchase as per your otticart.com invoice. If the damage is not due to a defect in material or workmanship, you will be notified of the repair process and additional charges through email or a call.

The decision of Otticart Private Limited in respect of the warranty claim shall be final and binding.

PRICING & PAYMENTS

• All the prices mentioned on the website are in Indian currency (rupees).
• The prices, products, and services are subject to change at the company’s discretion.
• All prices are inclusive of taxes.
• The company does not make any representation that the prices quoted on the website will match the offers provided by any retail stores.
• Pricing shown on the product may vary as displayed on the website due to any technical or typographical error or information received from the supplier’s prices. In such cases, we will issue a refund.
• The following are the accepted modes of payment: online payment via credit card, debit card, net banking/cash deposit into our bank account, and UPI.
• If any differences are found in pricing on the otticart.com website pre- and post-orders, kindly contact us within 72 (seventy-two) hours of placing your order.
• We are not responsible for the misuse of any credit card or payment mechanism. 

SITE CONTENT

You are responsible for any notes, messages, photos, content, videos, or information posted or transmitted through this site. otticart.com shall be entitled to take any steps if it is found that anyone is misusing the portion of any content or copying any element for any use will be a violation of our terms and conditions.
